Kicked Program 2018

In Kicked the bullying subsides when the children come together and act with kindness and respect.  “If someone on your team help them to the goal line.  If someone’s not on your team, respect them.  And if you are trying your hardest to prevent them from scoring and they score anyway, congratulate them ‘ cause you better believe they were trying their hardest, too”

Kids learn from adults’ actions.  By treating others with kindness and respect, adults show the kids that there is no place for bullying.  Even if it seems like they’re not paying attention, kids are watching how adults manage stress and conflict, as well as how they treat their friends, colleagues, and family.

We’d like to thank you, our students, Playhouse Square actors and Mr. Bob Yun for another amazing performance.  We truly appreciate the opportunity to enlighten our students about the effects of bullying.

“Dear Horizon Denison
What a wonderful school! Your students were kind and were a great audience. They are also so helpful in helping us strike our show (picking up the tape). Thank you so much to the assistant principal who was vital in focusing the students and for our lovely gifts. We truly appreciate you. Your pictures were wonderful. We hope you will have us back next year! Thank you.”  ~ Sidney E.
